FND testimonials
Alan is a Legend. Well, he is in our house. I am in my fifties, fit if overweight rush around like a nutter, exercise and muck out two horses most days, walk two dogs 4 or 5 miles a day. Work for a couple or charities.
However, in December I spent two weeks in Hospital with an unknown virus that attacked my legs rendering me immobile. A myriad of blood tests, CT, MRI Xrays, Lumbar punctures later with no real diagnosis, although I was displaying Guillame Barre symptoms the lack of mobility never went above my waist. I had a further set back in March with another visit to hospital after a basic cold rendered me again unable to walk again.
FND is the final catch all diagnosis and this is where Alan comes in. I went to him 6 weeks ago at the end of March with two knee supports and two sticks, in the house I used a Zimmer frame and have frames around the loo and had to go up the stairs on my bottom. I could hardly walk and couldn’t get up from the loo or a chair without arms. I had muscle loss on my thighs and calf muscles and had a pain like cramp all the time in my thighs and my calf muscles. My knees did some weird clicking thing and I couldn’t sleep without a TENS machine.
In the last 6 weeks Alan has got me walking without sticks, upright, pain free, almost. I went for a walk on the beach for two hours after 5 weeks treatment. He is truly amazing. My family and I would definitely call him a Legend. To get me this far in this short time has been fantastic. I am totally shattered after his treatment and it takes 5 days to feel the change but the change has been so quick, it is truly incredible having suffered for 12 weeks with no diagnosis and seemly no hope for recovery. Truly outstanding.

have been suffering from chronic migraines, nausea, blurred vision and motion intolerance /sensitivity and extreme tiredness, and brain fog. For nearly three years. I have been receiving treatment from a Neurology Consultant for my migraines and an ENT Consultant for dizziness. I also received treatment from the eye hospital. In the end they said that my issues where related to my nervous system and I needed to find a way of correcting it. They recommended talking therapy.
I was left feeling lost and alone I had no idea what I was going to do.
I was referred to Alan Muckle by another therapist. The work I have done with Alan has helped me the most. I feel I have a life as there has been a huge reduction in my symptoms and I feel in more control of my condition.
